Speak for yourself nikka, when s80 dropped everybody thought he was up there with Lupe Fiasco. Just sayin.

Lyrically speaking, section 80 wowed me more than any other project released since The Cool in 2006/2007
tbh, kendrick on his solo albums is on some next level shyt lyrically. even though s80 is more lyrical than gkmc, I prefer gkmc :blessed:

This shyt was wack as fukk. What is this dude babbling about?

:what:

Be DEAD ass serious right now.

He didn't kill a damn thing.

Jeezy > K. Dot here

I'm not shooting down K Dot but lets be real, if he wants to say he's "talented" this ain't it.

ehh, if we're being real, he doesn't really "wow" you with anything that he says. He's dope, yet doesn't really have quotables like that. Not really sure how the best lyricist can just not produce a bunch of readily quotable material, but that seems to be the case, according to you. His flow and delivery are top notch, though.
You see it.

Kendrick stays low-key trying to be like Eminem.

he ain't saying shyt but relying on flow and tone instead of these "lyrics" he supposedly has.

I don't get the Kendrick's not lyrical talks that pop off every once in awhile.

He wouldn't be able to have the flow and delivery he got without the talent to put the words together so it sounds so effortless.

You don't have to use Lupe Fiasco hidden type of metaphors to be called lyrical.

Is he the best? Maybe not. But there is no denying his talent. And of all the new school artists in mainstream hip hop, hes the most versatile lyricist.

This black on black is a blessin'
Black on black crime on my weapon
I protect mine on my mama and 'em, these my Usher confessions
Let it burn
- Tee-Tee and Tiana sexting
Teepees and mansions I rest in
Two T's and Top Dawg impress with
TV's that play their investment

K-D-O-T go tee off and TG's and YG's gon' press it
It's our turn - I pray that I never lose you
Cause I like benji and boocoo bucks at my wrists
They do voodoo, curse you forever, you better not touch it
The clutching I'm used to, 250 speed racing crucial
nikka, Vrrrrm
(Check that homie out, homie, that's K.Dot)
My youngins asking me do you consider role models useful
It's hard to say when I'm neutral, I'm tryna find out myself

Find inner peace inside heaven, find diamond pieces in hell
Will I burn
