Nobody fukking cares

I'm so sick of folks acting like this is the only form or rap, or that every artist is rapping about "murder culture".
Yea it’s past annoying tbh.
Most humans are product of poison so even if there was no music ,

It would be the same amount of killing still going

This dumb nikka @Matt504 think one genre is influencing already gone ,
and lost mufukkas from birth who never stood a chance out here , :childplease:

@Matt504 are u a suburban breh?might be why u feel like that

No judgement

But I would blame parents before the music for now on breh

It start at home brother
No man In the house
Parents not together
No financial stability
No punishment for acting up

Etc

Let alone the real world and unseen spiritual oppression we as a people face
Everyday

It’s deeper then rap @Matt504

I fukk w op but he needs to know people associate him with this message and I know he’s passionate but it’s falling on deaf ears. People in TLR don’t care about being positive all the time and never listening to a drill song ever in their life. Not even saying he’s wrong it’s just a waste of space on the front page making these selfish threads just because it’s something HE likes to talk about. I have a passion for high fashion, but you don’t see me making threads about Rick Owens and Yohji Yamamoto on a weekly basis because I read the fukking room here and op is smart enough to do that.
I mean comparing being into high fashion as a hobby to trying to saving black boys and men which isn't necessarily a hobby activity is wild.

Calling his purpose "selfish". Him caring about us in general is somehow self serving?

I just don't get it. All this venom in this thread for dude cuz he is against black death being entertainment.

And then this be the same website crying about why can brehs get disrespected and talked about any type of way in media and entertainment. Talking about why do Jews get to control their perception. Hilarious.

Meanwhile its trendy for groups like Asians ro sue and protest about rap lyrics now as they learn to control their image and perception.. but we mad at people like Matt for taking up the first page. Yikes

Hilarious.

Salute this young brother. Video made me shed a tear :mjcry:

Rap music has been used as a psychological warfare tool against the black mind for far too long and it baffles me that black people as a collective hasn't realized it yet. The defending it has already started in this very thread.

No other group of people would allow their youth to be poisoned by this garbage.

I get it, no it's not ALL rap but the overwhelming vast majority of rap generally speaking GLORIFIES A BACKWARDS LIFESTYLE & MENTALITY THAT WOULD EVENTUALLY DESTROY ANY GROUP.

I'm not just talking about drill rap. I'm talking about rap generally speaking.

For example, black people are programmed from an early age by rap music to be FINANCIALLY IRRESPONSIBLE.

Programmed to give away our money away to people who hate us and look nothing like us.

Basically the "make it rain" mentality"

YMGYbT9.gif

I could go on and on all day about the negative ways rap is programming black people but I would be typing all day.

And let's not talk about how it has ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED our image as a collective.

The fact that we are too blind to see all of this that's right in front of us has led me to believe that we may indeed be "cursed" as a people.

Cursed with blinders to unable us to see.

Gotta be the only explanation.

This ish so engrained in us. We think going or being in jail makes you “hard” or “tough” and in some measures it literally does…but we make that something to “achieve.” Smh

We do ourselves no favors. When/if we have entertainment without disfunction or murder/drugs it seems foreign to us. Look at most of “our” shows, there’s always some kind of wild drama involved. I agree with the young man, but also understand that it’s so deeply engrained in the culture, how do we fix it?

There’s a whole contingency out there working to keep it going. Keep us confused and praising what’s wrong. We’ve come so far in the 60 something years since they signed the Civil Rights Act, but we could’ve been further. We allowed ourselves to fall back to the point we don’t fight back or stand up for ourselves the way our great grandparents did. They made us believe that “equal” was enough (and we didn’t even get that) so we stopped marching, fighting, and protesting. We felt we “got” what they worked so hard for but honestly, they lulled us to sleep.

Shame this stuff even has to be said. We have the power to change our communities and culture. The question is, how bad do we want that change?

Ironically , you bring up "spiritual oppression" but don't realize that this music IS a spiritual oppression tool. Wow.

Atleast you understand the concept of spiritual oppression/warfare. I salute that. :salute:

But its weird that you would come in here and throw the cape on for arguably their most effective spiritual oppression tool and call the OP a "dumb n1gga" for merely speaking on it.

It's not that engrained. Only a few generations at best. People just make it seem impossible to address because the reality is people are still enjoying that content. So there is resistance to change. A whole lot of explaining and rationalizing.
When people are ready the change will be swift.

If you an older head we got to see how quickly attitudes changes towards lbgtqi in our lifetime. From being sort of illegal, can't marry to some of the most powerful protected people. They learned the power of being organized and moving as a unit towards their agenda. But we are still pretending that we can't change the shyt that is afflicting our youth. Like it's so insurmountable. When it's really not a priority.

21 Savage, a male that has innumerable lyrics glorifying anti-Black violence and degeneracy was made to apologize for a lyric that was ostensibly flattering to the Jewish community. He didn't get tough and ask why they couldn't see him as Denzel Washington playing a role, he didn't claim it was entertainment. He gave another people an apology that he would NEVER give his own people.

You brought up "spiritual oppression". Let's talk about it. Don't think I've ever seen a thread here on the coli talking about it.

I don't think the majority of the coli is aware of this type of oppression you speak of.

Can you elaborate and give some examples of the tools that the enemy would use to apply spiritual oppression?

Maybe me and you got 2 different definitions of "spiritual oppression". I would like to hear yours.

Not trolling you breh.

Ok I think I get what you're saying.

You're acknowledging that music is one of the many instruments in spiritual oppression.

You just want the OP to talk about the others.

I’m all for disavowing drill rap but the way rap music/hip-hop as a whole is being sunmarised in this argument is disingenuous.

If people really cared about the culture, they would do more to amplify the positive (or at least non-destructive) rappers but I barely see that happening so of course the music that is being pushed by labels and generate clicks on social media is going to be what kids see the most.

Man dudes a fakkit. A fat, gay, male feminist. Dude is scared to physically be around black people. At this point, anyone not recognizing this shyt is a fakkit as well.
