Lamar Odom first came in and people thought he was going to be an absolute nightmare.

Could dribble, post up, shoot 3s, pass and play defense when he wanted to...left handed. :mindblown:
Yup. Being left handed added another degree of difficulty for the defender too.

I kinda wanna say Webber was a bulkier version of Lamar tho Lamar's handles were sick for his size. Webber 's handles were just good enough to keep defenders honest. But i wanna say Webber may have been the better passer and defender of the two. Webber scored more but Lamar's offensive arsenal was superior

That one year he was in Miami with (then a rookie) Dwyane Wade was probably his best year. He plays much better with the ball in his hands. Always felt playing with Kobe would kill that aspect of his game.

Wished we could have kept him in the trade for Shaq but Lakers asked give up Wade or Odom and Riley wasnt about to let Wade go after he saw his enormous impact as a rookie.
Lamar was going OFF that playoff series. Thought he was going to have next....

Odom had all the potential in the world and while he had a very good career it could have been so much more. He should have been a routine 20 10 and 5 type player and as versatile as he was I don't think that is a stretch for me to say that. Imagine him being totally sober with a clear and focused mind and what he could have really done.
