Kanye and Dre aren't just beat makers. They're producers. They're brands. It's a business. Yes they will suck the life out of other's talents to further their own brand. It's exactly what every company does, like Apple and Nintendo.
A song will get more plays/sales of it says "Produced by Kanye" instead of "Produced by Young Chop". Not rocket science. Kanye is a brand and has a heavy image. Chop doesn't. maybe he could if he would get off Twitter and stop making these amateur videos. But that's half the problem.
