Why are people hating in here? 34k isn't as life changing as people are making it out to be. Turing 34k to a 2.7 billi company isn't some :beli: accomplishment, congrats to this cac :ehh:

34k isn't that much:gucci:

Y'all acting like flipping a dmv employees' salary into 500 million is normal.

What he said was right. People think they deserve the world now because they live vicariously through nikkas who already have it.

Y'all acting like 34k of disposable income is the same a 34k salary :gucci:

Y'all acting like a 34k untaxed gift is the same as bringing in 34k before taxes :gucci:

Y'all acting like 34k of free money is the same as dedicating your time to 34k and having bills to pay :gucci:

fukk wrong with y'all.

Anybody who gets free money has a chance to do something with it.

Receiving 34K with no type of interest to pay back and etc...is a lot of money.

And he got that at 19...

And ain't no telling how much more he got from his family...

Let's be real...he is talking about how Gen Yers want everything...

How many of us can ask any family member for anything over 500 dollars...

A lot of these cacs talk that talk...got money from their family....none of them are scraping and saving...

Developer Tim Gurner, 35, is worth nearly half a billion dollars but has delivered a brutal smackdown to some would-be first home buyers struggling to get a toehold in the market.

“When I was buying my first home, I wasn’t buying smashed avocado for 19 bucks and four coffees at $4 each,” he told 60 Minutes in a segment exploring Australia’s housing affordability crisis.

“You have to start to get realistic about your expectations. There is no question we are at a point now where the expectations of younger people are very, very high.

“They want to eat out every day, they want to travel to Europe every year. This generation is watching the Kardashians and thinking that’s normal. Thinking that owning a Bentley is normal, that owning a BMW is normal.

Mr Gurner was ranked 157 on this year’s Financial Review Rich List after making $473 million in 10 years. He started out by taking over a lease on a suburban gym as a 19-year-old, using $34,000 given to him by his grandfather. He sold the business a year later to a competitor and went into property development, riding the boom in Melbourne and Brisbane. His Gurner company now has 5000 apartments worth $2.7 billion on its books.

-----------------------------------------

Act like you didn't get 34K to start your business from your grandparents...rich Cacs love to talk that talk...:russ:
What does what you said have to do with what he said? People do have high expectations and from the part you posted he didn't say anything that would make him getting 34k go against the other stuff he said. Also everybody isn't turning 34k into half a billy fam.

And your acting like you couldn't save your own 30k in 5 years just by putting away about 400 dollars a month. The average black woman spends more than that on her damn hair, nails, and clothes.

I agree with you guys, 34k is a lot of money to be gifted with no strings attached, but these nikkas are implying that that they would ALL be billionaires if they had been gifted 34k at 19, which simply isn't true. The 34k is no reason to dismiss his amazing drive and acumen to get that paper :ehh:

I don't have a problem with getting money. I'm telling you that it's not possible for all people.

Saving 30k over 5 years is possible, just not likely.

If your credit sxore is above 690 you could open up 5 credit cards from the major banks right now and get an easy 20k liquid with only a 1% minimum payment or 200 bucks a month.

Don't say you can't, because i did. I flipped that into 42k via Facebook ads with a niche site focused on selling woman accesories.

Money and ideas are out there to say you can't even try is asinine.

I think that's the rub. Its good start up money no doubt but thinking that's all it takes to get that type of success is some typical hater stuff. Ole if I had 34k nothing could stop me ass cats.

Cats would use that 34k to put a down payment on a G-Wagon and a week of bottle service at the strip club :smh:

Lol I don't think that's the case but most aren't going to be worth hundreds of millions that's for sure. Dudes probably still come on here asking what to do with the money but swear that's all they need to make it pop
