Thug talks like a regular Black nerd. I heard his normal speaking voice once... and his reddit posts reflect the same. This Young Thug persona is just some shyt he made up.

Regarding the original post - ya, Andre 3000 is not a good person to look for career help - when he quit being a rapper 19 years ago. That's the equivalent to me being 9 years old in 1990 and hearing Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin. Thinking damn that sounds old! That was for those high school kids in the early 70s! That's what 19 years away is like. That's how long Andre hasn't been rapping.
Shout out to Redman, Ghostface, Jay Z, Wu Tang who actually have acquired this very rare thing called "Rap career longevity"

Andre3000 has not been any form of competition to anyone in rap for 19 years! Literally since Saddam Hussein was executed.
It's definitely competitive jealousy. Andre300 dropped a random verse and won both Future and Killer Mike a Grammy with Scientists and Engineers in 2024, the same two rappers he also helped put on. That's why he's downplaying Andre3000's contributions. Textbook hate tactic...and you believed him.

I don't think Andre "won" any Grammys for anyone. I believe Killer Mike won his Grammy cause his album was great + all the hard work he put in.
We have differing opinions on this all good.
I am just very frustrated with Andre 3000. And the years he didn't rap. So my thoughts are coming from that place.
And I'm bothered by people giving him passes for being a great. He is nowhere near Nas or Jay Z's level of work output and longevity.

I dunno how true it is but years ago somebody on here said they went to school with Young Thug and he was a weird art kid. Popular, good with the ladies, but not in the streets at all. So he was confused where all this gangster shyt came from.
So it's possible that Young Thug was overcompensating.
