However, the first bolded is just sad to me. Not in a condescending way, but it's because most of the kids are being set-up for failure already. This shyt has gone on for generations, I can't think of the number of kids the last two and a half decades that just didn't know any better because of some OG's saying something about a rival set.
The second bolded is also sad, cats risking jail time for some industry plants so some can laugh at them.

The B/C's are cool thing to have in the sense of protection in the Black community. It's one thing makes people from the outside fall back from trying to pull a fast one, it's a needed sense of respect and fear for the outside world to abide. However, the violence and beef between the sets, especially for dumb shyt like this needs to calm the fukk down and not be glamourized.

Dont know the sitution fully, but they outnumber blacks by alot in California & Texas etc. I think u know the history of Cali. I feel ur point tho that they should try to stick together if so rather than sticking to the same script.

I completely agree. Gangs started as a means of neighborhood protection and that's what they need to be. I would love for black gangs to drop their beefs or at least ceasefire for a bit because the black community needs protection in the worst way right now.

With the way gentrification is going some of these hoods might not even exist in ten years...not saying I want them shooting civilian cacs BUT the cacs moving into our areas are a much bigger threat than the black man who looks like you, went to the same school as you, has lived your life basically but he's from your rival set. Yeah The UBN started in New York cause the black inmates were dealing with a similar scenario tbh..my dad was a correction officer on rikers, all through the late eighties and early nineties, matter fact he even works their to this day. Which leads me to believe all the black "bangers" in cali could come together and fend of some of the racist mexicans like the UBN did against the inmates that were racist against blacks. And yeah the mexicans outnumber the blacks without a doubt, but RACIST MEXICANS do not outnumber blacks, their are way more regular mexicans who have no problem with blacks then their are mexicans who are racist, you feel me?
