It's not just young N!ggas it's hood niccas period

NAS was in his early 30s when Jacob got him a fugazi engagement ring for Kelis

Rappers just look at aesthetics ..it's SHINY that's it

Their not about substance

Same with their hoes
I think it's just people who don't know shyt about watches period.

Wristwatch News, Reviews, & Original Stories

This dude knows the game.

I've been up on 42nd street and seen all them watch buyers/sellers that can spot a fake Rolex a mile away, it's easy for those not in the know to get got.

110k for a watch, from a guy who makes 10k-15k a show, and sold 22,000 albums :duck:

let's do some math. because I don't like thugger like that but I can't knock/hate the numbers. so let's use the math you dropped...

10-15k a show, this was his line up for this year I think...

* with Tory Lanez

that's 34 x 10,000 = $340,000.00 | 34 x 15,000 = $510,000.00

You said he sold 22,000 records.
Amazon has his album priced @ $8.99 for MP3
iTune has his album priced @ $9.99 for MP3

that's $197,780.00 (at $8.99)
and $219,780.00 (at $9.99)

so in total, for the Barter 6 album he's made a total potential gross figure of $537,780.00 and $729,780.00

So if you think Thug didn't make enough to buy a 110k watch, you're hating. and yes, that's even taking into account he doesn't retain the full gross figures.

400k show money = 300k after taxes.. 250k after paying fees...so 250k

Then he gets maybe 10 cents a record

So he made about 300k this year and spent 110k of it on a watch lol

This.

:dead: at "$8-9 per album sold". Nobody in the history of music has made 100% profit off their music. It's impossible.

that's not the point of the argument,

you said you thought him saying he spent 110k on a watch was duck tails and you insinuated he couldn't have made enough to purchase said watch.

I'm not here to debate his personal spending habits, just wanted to let you know that his venue bookings and record sales netted him enough potential profit to purchase a 110k watch.

you clearly just completely overlooked my portion of the post where I said

So if you think Thug didn't make enough to buy a 110k watch, you're hating. and yes, that's even taking into account he doesn't retain the full gross figures.

meaning that my figures I calculated, I knew he wouldn't receive those full figures.

These jewellers are taking advantage of these rappers, they know they've never seen a real piece so they sell them fakes
makes zero sense... it's not like the actual watch maker doesn't have an official website to get the watch

or sell it in a real official store

a 5 min google search would shut all this shyt down.... then if you really wanted to flood it with diamonds... you take your real watch to a jeweler

nikkas out here getting gamed out of 80k to save 5k
