Pusha has said that Biggie is his favorite artist and that he's patterned alot of his style after him. He has the lyricism down but he's never been able to make a commercial song that resonates outside of a niche fanbase. He's doing it his way, but that comes with pros and cons.
When battling more successful artists, you have to come with hits also to truly "beat" Drake. Yes, Pusha destroyed Drake in the rap battle, but Drake has dropped "In My Feelings" and it was forgotten to the general public. 98% of them have no clue who Pusha is so it's out of sight, out of mind to them.
