i never heard of young thug except on here. nikka is nobody offline.

Cmon on son :comeon:

Mothafukka is on the cover of magazine's, getting Rolling Stone write ups. and out here popping bottles with Cash Money at the All Star Games. I think maybe he is a "lil" bit known outside of the Coli :beli:

the reason this fool blew up is cause ATL supports their up and comers. gives them a chance, I swear they get a new artist blowing like every other month. wtf.

places like LA, NY just filled with crabs.

THIS!

I swear, if I was an up and coming rapper, I'd just shop records in ATL. NY don't care about it's own artists and plays more ATL/south rappers up here anyways.

I remember the first time I heard of Lil B. I watched the video for "I'm a Martian" on WSHH back in 2009. I'll admit...I hated it.

Then I heard "myspace" and I was like...ok, this dude got bars.

Then I heard "I'm God" and the rest is history...I've been a fan since then.

I even wrote a blog write up on him on Strictly Riddim (R.I.P.) when I was still doing it in January of 2010...and he retweeted the link on his twitter.

Young Thug has been around for awhile...I actually dld all his mixtapes and he's got heat...I like his style. He's going to have a real big year this year.

not every up and comer needs to be supported. thats why atl is so fukking wack. if you can make it in la you know you got potential to actually do something. the rapper of the month in atl is usually :camby: status.

imagine if the nfl allowed every fat out of shape middle aged guy to come play, it would be weak. only the best of the best get a real chance.

Martian was the first track I heard too and then Pretty Boy. Someone posted it back when it came out. I was like :what:? I couldnt believe someone was that vulgar, absurd and out there. I didn't even recognize it was the lil dude from the pack, I just kept thinking this nikka is crazy and terrible.

then I heard

I was like :gladbron: "this nikka was trolling, this might be the most brilliant marketing I've seen since Quasimoto/Kool Keith."

Went back and listened to Pretty Boy and was like :wow: this nikka is a genius, then listened to Martian and was hooked by what is now known as 'swag music'. :dj2:
