I'm confused. So music goes by WHOS playing it or how much people are playing it? Weezy at his peak was hot and making the best music. Thug doesn't even get respect in real hip hop circles. He's with the Quans, Fetty Wap, Travis Porters of the world.

I do see the Weezy-like work ethic though, but the music ain't there yet. The quality

Thats your opinion, lil wayne has proved himself to us that he can spit,he can make hits, and he can be a legend in the rap game along with him being a big influence on modern day rappers.but so far, hes been neglecting his skills. His music is getting worse by the years due to lazy productions,dated beats, and lack of flows.

His wordplay will always be genius, but hes just not "wowing" us. Young thug is proving himself to us that he can make consecutive catchy songs with good beats. His flows are better than lil waynes,his production is way better than lil waynes,and his beats are 10x better than lil waynes. And thats what makes young thug a better artist with a much higher replay value.

Lil wayne may be a vet, but vets are replaced overtime. Lil waynes time is almost up.
