As a fan of his music I'll be the first to admit Drake is a talented wordsmith with a decent take on flow and cadence
but its obvious that Thugga who is on another galaxy in the sense, is where Drake aims his aspiration
Drake is very good at one thing and that is recognizing talent and I peeped this cold war between Thugga and Drake for while now and I believe it stems from the fact that Thugga wont allow Drake to get close to the magic Thugga produces
Peep this Drake interview where Drake speaks on his desperation when it comes to flow and how important it is to him
"I love dancehall flows, especially as of late. I pretty much won't even rap on a beat unless it's got some magic element of new tempo or new pocket, where I hear myself and feel like I've stumbled upon something new.
There's times where I'm sitting around looking for like, three, four words. I'm not looking for, like 80 bars on some '5AM,' 'Paris Morton'-type s---, you know? There are moments like that, too, but the hardest moments, the most difficult ones, in songwriting, are when you're looking four words with the right melody and the right cadence. I pray for that. I'll take that over anything – I'll take that over sex, partying. Give me that feeling."
And this desperate yearning he has for what Thugga does effortlessly has to kill him inside
Long story short...Young Thug has the talent Drake wishes he had for himself
