The other day my boy and I were at my crib shooting pool and listening to music. He gets mad at GDOD2 and tells me to put on real music. As he scrolls through my Google Play Music he finds Big Daddy Kane, which is cool with me. As I'm listening to some tracks I say "nikka, you do realize that he ain't saying shyt just like these newer rappers, right?" He couldn't even do shyt but stutter and try to make up some bullshyt cuz he knew it was true. Same thing when we started listening to Busta Rhymes - ELE. Dont get me wrong, the music doesn't have same feel anymore but it's only cuz we're getting older that we think "these nikkas ain't saying shyt" because very few hiphop artists are really ever saying anything, IMO.

Im only 20 B. If anyone's ears would appreciate that shyt, it would be someone around my age. Because some of my homies are on that "Young Thug is a God" shyt. I just don't understand it. The music is getting worse and worse, everyday .

I respect your opinion, but at the at the same time I'm not sure if your opinion is even valid being that you didn't really experience that age of "true" hiphop. Music is subjective to the listeners ears so it's really all opinion. I just don't see anything different now except the fact that EVERYBODY is a rapper and they tend to all sound the same. But again nobody is saying or not saying anything different than 10-20 years ago
