I’ve been Sad Bunny since 2022 and that’s because I like Bad Bunny’s depressing heartbreak music. It has nothing to do with suicide.
I’m actively in therapy and working on my issues. I stopped venting my sadness here and I save it for my therapist. I don’t even vent to a certain friend because he said it was depressing him as well. I stopped posting here because I don’t want people to think I’m trolling but it was VERY real feelings at the time.
I’ve always posted about depression and mental health which can be traced back so 2012-2013 in my profile.

I lowkey wish I didn't leave the record label back in like 06'.
I was an intern and didn't realize I was suppose to follow through the next year plus I was a college dropout with no clear direction. Seeing cats like 9th wonder and J. Black was dope in my hay days.
Hiring AR's and talent managers from down south and DC to scout artists/talent is what killed the east coast allowing the south to completely take over.
Seeing some of my fellow interns scout out trash friends of theirs was a nail in the coffin.
The evolution of that has produced repetitive garbage.

As much as these coked out jewish owners are gatekeepers, we had some push back to say yay or nay but those guys moved on and these labels never keep the same team around pass maybe 2 years from what I saw.
I think we underestimated how much of an influence music had/has on society but with the recognition of guys like Kendrick, consciousness is starting to make a comeback slowly although Cole been on that wave since I heard his EP in 06'. Still a big fan of the homie.

Yea, labels want a specific image and concept of what they want to promote. It ain't no coincidence.
I remember at one point maybe back in like 2014 or 15, I thought about pushing a conscious artist from N.O. to my fam but the representation, consistency and time was too much plus I didnt have my grounding still finding my identity in Houston.
