White people have been so hell bent on making sure that the system fukked over black folks that they didn't notice when their number got called. Now they wanna brand Timmy, Jill and 'em ODing as an "epidemic" but guess what? They've been so focused on punishing blacks via incarceration during the war on drugs that they don't even have the infrastructure to treat opioid addiction as a health crisis

PLUS they've privatized prisons which will lead to a lot of corporate pushback on anything but incarceration

AND these police have gotten so addicted to cracking heads and receiving that war on drugs money that they'll fight for the status quo when it's crunch time

ADD in the fact that these white folks are so scared to call out the true culprits - Themselves- that they'll point fingers at China, Mexican cartels and build a billion dollar wall on the border when most of the addiction started with pills that Skip and Becky got from their white doctor (who likely over prescribed them) or from a white friend who got em out of mommy and daddy's medicine cabinet. And this is while these white ran pharmaceutical companies fight any regulation that may effect their bottom line
