Sean had one of the most distinct voices in rap. I never cared much for J-Bo but he played his part and didn't do more than we expected from him. That whole Attic Crew should've had a moment.

They kind of did. Youngblood’s got pretty popular from the jump, Jim Crow did too. TI took a little longer but he was clearly on another level as an artist from the rest (I know him and Killer Mike were just loosely associated with them). I liked how they all collaborated and helped each other upwards in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

Edit: I was surprised Playboy Tre wasn’t on the radio like that outside of “Bet I Bust”. I think he was a few years ahead of his time.

Never knew they were associated. Never hear Clifford being apart of the crew, only jackin Sean vocal tone and Mike been next gen DF since day one.

Lmao. I don’t think Sean or TI jacked anybody. Just because people have relatively similar voices don’t mean they had to steal them. That’s like Pimp being wrong af for saying Sean was trying to sound like him.

I say loosely associated because they weren’t attack crew, but they were on each other’s projects and at each other’s shows coming up at the same time.

Bun’s big jolly ass was a studio gangster…

U really think that Bun B from 98-99 would want those “future” problems??

What always got me is the video “Take It Off”.

Why did Bun look like he got punched in the eye by someone??

Only Sean Paul I acknowledge from the Youngbloodz :salute:

If you was in SE Michigan anywhere ‘05 - ‘08 and heard 85, Damn, or Presidential on 10 at midnight coming from a car it was me

Sean Paul would have had a issue… name wise

The Youngbloodz’ rapper would be stuck in the middle because his name was associated with the reggae guy in contrast to Sean P

Sean Paul was a cool dude though…

I kinda liked how he emulated Pimp C on the first album. That Southern twang is why I loved that first album

That showed that the South didn’t need to copy NY back then.
