I'm a Infamous fan myself but T-Rock was the far better technical rapper but Infamous had a better flow. He ripped Late Night Tip to shreds also...

Rock is solid (don't ask me how). Just don't have him on Infamous' level. He killed that Smokin' On Da Dro verse tho :manuehh:

punchlines, metaphors, similies and all around technicianship - T-Rock

imagery, painting a lyrical picture and all around MC skiills - Lord

if being a better MC was JUST about "technical ability"...than dudes like Ras Kas, Pharoah Monche etc. would automatically be better than Pac, Cube & Face...right?

by the time rock joined the camp (98-2001) lord was a few years past his lyrical peak...so he was a better straight up spitter when they shared the label at the same time...

but both bar4bar at their peak? it's close.

on 2nd thought... rock might not have even been better with the metaphors than a peak lord...wasn't fukkin' with his multi-game either.

"smoking pine as i skydive off of mountains
in my mind, blood squirting high out of fountains
counting corpses, in my black fortress
in the hallway painting satanic portraits"

rock is good at using metaphor one-liners...in a traditional battle rap style...but i haven't seen him scheme together metaphors like THAT

both are elite technicians/lyricists who have different stylistic approaches to lyricism...rock is more conventional...lord unconventional

both are way underrated though

another...

^^rock can't spit like that man........

:wow:

t-rock washed up a :flabbynsick: scarecrow on every song on that "blood money" album though

Not big on them Atlanta nikkaz eh :sas1:

Edit - nvm got soul food

Soul food and TM101 are honorable mention for me

I'll always love and appreciate the kilo g to youngbloodz atl era. Their rap scene was dope as fukk back then. Futuristic J and Leland restored the feelings but fukked it up. Aside from wop, future, dro and bankroll fresh I don't fukk with the atl rap scene too heavy bruh.
