man please, dude put on amazing matches for years and had pretty dope attire during his WWE run. His promos were basic yet believable, thought he barely cut promos anyway

I'm aware that objectively he wasn't a "bad" wrestler (though I always thought he was SUPER overrated by the IWC back then).

I just didn't like him or ever want to watch him.

I was pretty young when I formed my opinion on him. Maybe if he came along now I would appreciate his work more

I don't see how any black kid who was watching wrestling in 1992-96 could find anything appealing about the Nasty Boys or The Butcher. I can smell the scent of skoal in our old apartment the moment the fukking Nasty Boys appeared on TV they were an instant take your time to eat a snack break during my childhood of watching wrestling on the weekends. Same shyt with the Godwinns I hated that hokey ass gimmick shyt shoutout to TL Hopper and Freddie Joe Floyd instant flip to Sportscenter highlights status

fukk it... I was a Disciple fan. Let me explain.

I started watching wrestling during the New Generation and don't recall his Barber gimmick. I didn't watch WCW until the nWo. I marked out for Ultimate Warrior's WCW run and the oWn with Disciple. Chalk it up to me being a kid, but I never hated the guy.
