I wouldn't say he paints a negative image of black women at all. The previous week's episode took place entirely from the main black woman's perspective and wasn't a negative portrayal.

Still it's kind of ridiculous. This dude makes a point to make sure his show has all black writers, his lyrics talk about the racism he's endured throughout Hollywood. He even said straight up that he was tired of spending his time "making white people not feel afraid".

And then he goes and knocks up a Cac? It's absurd. It's like these genuinely pro-black guys in Hollywood (looking at you Nate Parker) suffer from some sort of bed-bucking Stockholm Syndrome
