But actually, one of my friends moved here from NY and we were platonic - went out to dinner, movies, chilled at his place watching tv, went clubbing together....he even took me to his mom's house - we drove to NY together and the guy at the border asked if he's my man lol awkward! We never put the moves on each other...but I'll be honest, the dynamic was a bit weird at times cause there WAS sexual tension, but we both respected the fact we're just friends. It is possible, but not the norm. Eventually, we grew apart, but we never once kissed or anything. No, he's not gay.

The only way to successfully hang with a female friend without that awkwardness is if you're in the same class and working on the same project, on lunch from the job, or you decide to have her back after a breakup.
