I was looking at these and they real affordable, but the performance is lacking. Is there any potential? I know it's got a 5.7, but that's about it.

hell yeah there’s potential. I wouldn’t call 25 real affordable tho unless you just got it like that, cuz that’s what the stock low mileage ones that ain’t been ragged out start around. I’ve held off on one until I have the money to do what I want to it but I’m thinking I’m gonna knock one off this summer cause the prices on the cherry ones will only go up. That’s one car that’s maintained its value and even increased some.

What kinda upgrades would you do? I'd want at least 600hp. Maybe more down the line I don't know much about building engines. I just know that 5.7 LT was used in Corvettes back in the days.

Lingenfelter and callaway should have twin turbo kits for those engines

my boy has this (2019 or 2020) in matte black, definitely fun ride. These New England winters not good to sports cars.

I want mines all black with orange racing stripes down the middle sitting on some 20's chrome rimes all weather tires and a bit of a spoiler in the back/ orange neon underkit you can manually turn on /off with electrostatic tinted privacy windows and carbon fiber front lip with struts on the front, chrome grill with emblem inside...

True on the price compared to a Chevelle. But I’m not gonna do too much. Just have my mechanic tighten the engine up and maybe put a chip in it. Whatever he recommends really but nothing special. That 5.7 is enough for me, that’s why I’m waiting to find one with low miles. Exhaust, tint it out, redo the interior and repaint it in pearl black. Basically just something to pull out every once in a long while. But that’s the only car I’ve ever really just fallen in love with and I’ve had a few cars.
