Youngbloodz, Lil scrappy, and the fact that lil jon revitalized E-40's career were my favorite parts of that era. 40 was straight up a niche artist nationwide until he started clickin up with lil jon...REP YOUR CITY, and his cameos made it cool to ride with E-40, and then he started being cool again. as a fan since capatain save a hoe, I appreciated that :wow:

plus he DESTROYED rep your city :damn:

Outkast era as Goodie Mob was just coming inot their own and it ain't even debatable to me. It was pure, before the bright lights left the East and West Coasts there was powerful, timeless music being made.

The city got it's shine in the 00's but that was long after that purity was tainted. The bigger beats took over and that heartfelt poetry and creativity got lost.
