I remember being young and at school a white girl I tried to talk to that was apart of a group of all white people and One of the persons was friends with me but the group wasn't as accepting anyways the girl told me On Aim that I was brown and a mexican and when I saw her in real life and said sup to the white friend I had she said I wasn't white and needed to go eat a taco or something.

As a kid went on a trip with fam to a Real nice resort and made the unwise decision of going swimming at the pool. Was the only black kid there... forget kid...only black Person there at the pool.
Them white folks was like when they saw me coming to swim.

Didn't think anything of it because I was just a kid at the resort..plenty of kids and people in the pool having fun. (none of em black)

Then when I started swimming they was like !!!!

Men, Women, Kids, Old all at me from every angle. Like I was a shark or some evil scary force.

I looked around for a second like why everybody stop having fun?

why EVERYbody staring at me soon as I started swimming? didn't take long for me to learn. I got out shortly after and went back to the room. I was racking my kid brain at first because I wasn't doing anything to stop the show like that.

They don't like that black person coming in their pool stuff. It was a sight to behold. Never seen anything like that before or since.

Can't describe how strong that negative energy was..especially for a kid. other peeps probably been through it before though.

I was waiting by the door of my class for the teacher to open up and let me in. That day we had a substitute, old chain smoking white bytch.

I didn't realize I was standing directly where the knob hits the wall so this bytch swings the door, mind you it has a window in it, and slaps the door into my chest

After three or so hits, she let me get out from behind the door. I never felt a pain like that before, I and ran to the office.

My folks rushed to the school and we had a meeting. I had this bytch's career (lol substitutes have a career?) in my hands




All I wanted was an apology, a sincere one. My folks wanted this bytch's head but I didn't know why they went so hard until years later.

4 or 5 years old. I'm living in the bumble fukk American Southwest.

I'm at Sunday School being cool and vibin like I always been...just minding my own business takin it all in. This little white blonde redneck girl raises her hand to tell the teacher "He Hit Me" . Luckily the teacher didn't take it too serious cuz the girl wasn't crying, there was no commotion. But cacs gotta cac so she warned me "keep your hands to yourself" ...whole time I'm just sitting in a chair minding my own business. I don't even think I defended myself. I was just shocked and confused cuz I literally didn't do anything.

Short time later, still living in hickville. I got a new bike for my birthday. These broke ofays were not happy about it, so the bike disappears and ends up broken and tossed in the woods. We never found out who did it.

About a year later we move to PG County Maryland and its been all good since then.


Epilogue: Got a new bike for my 7th birthday. nikkas stole that too...but that was different . Called the cops. Cops show up write some shyt on a notepad and roll out in under 5 minutes. Stopped fukkin with the cops on that day.

Alabama in 2010 when my mother took me on the trip there for spring break. We went to a hospital to see my cousin's sick friend. On the way out on the elevator we got in there with two old White women. They looked at us like we were shyt. That was my wakeup call with racism.
