Exactly. Trying to play house but can't afford to do it. Pathetic. Any girl I've dated hasn't paid for anything ever. It depends on the mental attitude of both persons and the discrepancy in salaries. If your girl is making 6 figures and so are you, share the costs. If you make 6 figures and she works part time, she should pay less but contribute more. It's a little difficult to say either YES or NO.
Like if my girl was working part time while getting a degree while taking care of her kid, I'd be supportive and have her pay maybe 15, 20%.

Kings are owners of private property and they control resources. Basically I agree with you.You ain't a king living in a studio apartment.
There is more to kingship than owning property or controlling land.
I don't treat women like Queens unless they are one. I don't call myself a King because I am not one. I am just trying to get ahead in this world. So the woman I am with better understand that. I don't have time for people not pulling their own weight.
I wouldn't ask her to do absolutely nothing.... Why would you empower that woman in your house? . This is good because two things will happen, either a true woman or a true thot will be revealed during this time.

Im 22, got my own car/apartment/ etc but this is outdated thinking. Its hard enough out here to be on some "Oh im a man, i can handle all the financial responsibility!"
At least for me down the line i would want my lady to pay something. And are me and here combing (at least some of) our income?
I know women who dont make a lot of $$ and women who do. Some dont mind going half and some knowingly finesse this game of life just bc they're women
It's not outdated thinking, it's just my way of doing things. I don't knock your hustle fam. If you're comfortable with that, then cool. For me, she would be doing the cooking and cleaning, and responsible for buying things for the house. I work for myself, so I don't worry about losing my job. We gonna be good regardless.

That is why I want my own crib beforehand. If I am able to pay the rent before I wouldn't depend on her income. So she moves in we have the rent split proportional to our imcomes. But her name isn't going the lease.
If she makes way less then me then contribute to buying groceries,paying bills and whatnot. But if we breakup and I kick you ass out I'm still good cuz I was doing fine paying the rent without you.

If she's working, and not doing anything with her money, then she should just be a housewife. It is my belief that a man and woman should never be overly dependent on the other. if shyt goes bad and the girl leaves, where does she go if she's not used to paying bills? What was she doing before she moved in? Who said it was a prerequisite of a woman moving in that says she is free of all bill paying responsibility?

Growing up, I always wondered why I never had any tales to tell of "crazy" women like majority of guys claim like on here but now I fully see why.
These women ain't crazy, y'all motherfukkers just fukking dumb and always being led with they dikks.
