My definition of what the greatest movie is a movie that is perfect in every way (acting, cinematography, story, not boring, good pacing etc) would be There Will Be Blood. This is not my favorite movie but after I watched that movie, I was like this movie is perfect.

I really slept on this movie because of the topic, the oil boom of the 19th century. I was like :rudy: that sounds boring as fukk.

Others, again these are not my favorite movies but using the same definition as above.

Black Hawk Down
Apollo 13
Amelie

ETA: Terminator 2, Zodiac
actually watched this last night for the first time since the vhs days in the 90s

it's good..but the 2nd half kind of drags a bit..and then the cheesy ron howard ending

still good though

:myman:It's so cool to see King of Kong on someone's list. I love that movie, and hardly anyone I know has heard of it. I think what made it so great is that I wasn't expecting, nor did I ever imagine that such an epic battle could be teased out of a story about two adult Donkey Kong gamers.:ehh:

since much has already been stated on the godfather 1 and 2 and rightfully so, i gotta speak on how great apocalypse now is

this is one of those movies that didn't even seem like a movie, it's like a documentary because the actin', characters and dialogue are so genuine

for as long as it is (3 hours), it don't seem like it because the movie flows seamlessly from one scene to the next

captain willard :win::wow:
