This. All facts. I’ll let you know bc I’m already committed- got hooked in the first 2 eps. BUT had I known this was that detrimental to black characters, I would have waited just like you. (On the other had it shows the true nature of white people with corruption and their evil ways instead of portraying them as “can’t do no wrong” savior complex bull shyt.”)!At least until the season was over and spoiled the ending for myself which would have made the decision for me, then go back and watch from EP 1 throughout. It’s very demonic. All I’m saying. The most frustrating series that I’ve ever watched in a long time. They’re dragging this shyt out too. Every episode - a Black person gets aired out, figuratively or literally. I have a feeling the young boy in one of the lead roles is going to be on a revenge kick and the Judge’s son is going to fold - so I think things are starting to crack to where it all comes to a head.

This shyt is fire. I’m on episode 6 or 7. How the hell I miss this is crazy.

The daughter is hideous but I know I’m not the only one who notices that she looks just like her TV father, I wonder if they’re really related irl; so maybe that was the casting decision. And she def doesn’t look high school age - she looks like she’s in her 30s. All of the black people caught in this shyt storm of decisions there better be some vindication and revenge on all the whites causing chaos in these last 3 episodes. I think the little boy whose family was killed will end up handling something - foreshadowing. Trevor’s body will end up resurfacing - that was sloppy how they threw him in the river; they should have added more weights to his body, stuffed rocks into his pockets, jeans, coats etc, cut his stomach open so the body will not be a floater from all of the gas buildup (allegedly, not that I’m speaking from personal experience) and then use the anchor to tie around his legs so that he floats down vertically, not horizontally. They also should face cut off his fingers, harder to ID without fingerprints. I mean the dude is in the mob - he should have known all this if they’re trying to make it more dramatic. But we’ll see- I may be over analyzing that part.

For any legal experts in here.
With a case like this when does someone step in and be like, ok, Judge is compromised?

I'm not a legal expert, but in anything I've ever seen that involved going after a judge, it was definitely a "if you come at the king, you best not miss" situation. It needs to be air tight b/c judges can make life difficult for a lot of people if you're wrong.

The only true justice is for Miss Moe(?i think that’s her name) (the N.O. leader to call up the steppers to curb stomp the son and the Judge simultaneously) then throw his inhaler in the riverbank so that he suffers slowly just like Kofi did. Take that bytch of a mother, Mrs. Baxter -throw her into an empty grave buried alive. And let the head of the Baxter kkklan and his son thrown into a basement cartel style, put them on a slab, take a bag filled with rats place it over their head and have them do what they do. Anything less, would not be enough. Fuk it - take out the daughter too, discard the bloodline- she’s collateral damage. No stone unturned- she’ll do something deviant in her future, it’s in her DNA, just get it over it. Take everyone out Gomorrah style in that town. I need them to suffer for what they did and the consequences to the innocent family.

Ummmmm.... allegedly. Not that I speak from personal experience or have any connection to those type of incidents to provide that level of detail. Nvm. I read and observe a lot- yeah, that’s it, taken from case files - no criminal activity over here..

If there's no vengeance, then I'm mis-reading where the show is going. After the latest episode you see that protagonist is just as bad as the "bad guy". And he does it so easily its not even a "Breaking Bad" situation. He's a "criminal" judge, more than Saul Goodman was a "criminal" lawyer.
