Employers aren't supposed to care. You are a resource to them compensated for your labor. Benefits and HR are all an extension of that. The company shouldn't represent anything to you other than a client providing compensation for services rendered.

This is like expecting a p0rn consumer or a John to care about the well being of a sex worker. They might, but only in how it affects the sex worker's performance.

Because that is what they truly care about...your performance.

You don't know who I am or how I think other than my opinion on a few basic Coli topics. To say "people like me" is to make assumptions and come to a conclusion with very little context or information.

I stated my opinion on what the world is and how most people have shown (in action) how they think.

You stated in the bolded the length at which the employer cares about mental health. They don't care about it because they care about the person, they care because they want productivity.

I have to operate in the world that exists, not in the world I think should exist. That's the only way you can transform a family, community, area, region, state, or country. If you dont know what the world is and who people are, how do you make it better?

most jobs dont hell i work in healthcare and we always joke that whenever a non unionized employee goes on short term disability and comes back they get canned within 6 months
