Never knew Cornette was like this because everything I heard he was "liberal", but he really the fake liberal (racist/bigoted as fukk, hold a few liberal values, dont like the far right) that you see a lot on the internet (see reddit.com).
But yeah, he said a lot wrongholding an entire group accountable for the actions of some is wrong as fukk no matter which way you look at it, and if you slidin with that fukk you too

That is to say, basically a white dude who's xenophobic of other cultures and basically classify the extremists of any religion or culture as the ONLY representations (nevermind that moderates have been targets of those extremists as well) because he really has not been in contact with the moderate people and only knows of the group by the news, and has no problem marginalizing the people and creating this monolithic representation of them...that and he lives in a really white region anyway and wont make an effort to talk to moderates about their perspective to its really no shock.
I'm not religious myself but I kinda dont see how you can't consider the people who are moderate regular folks around your way, unless you live in a community where you feel they are ultra conservative but for fukk's sakes in 2015 you have the internet and social media, make an effort to ask.
