From what I understand, they are very similar, except the a9g has better sound options. I’d imagine that if you have a receiver and speakers, the price bump from a8g to a9g isn’t worth it.

I’d have to do more research to be 100% sure on that, but I’d get the a8g if I was choosing between the two
