If he plans on trying to be a perimeter player, I could forsee injuries bogging him down

Correct answer is nobody really knows. Anyone saying anything 'concrete' about him is just guessing

He obviously has crazy high upside, but also has serious, serious bust potential. Hes the ultimate high risk/high reward

If Mudiay or Mario turn into a superstar though .... OUCH
That's exactly the motive of this thread.

Anyone saying anything "concrete" about most of the decisions last night are just guesses.

However, with certain teams, players, people...Going against their guess means that person shytting on that team unreasonably.

I wanted to get people locked into what their expectations are...And if this player actually exceeds those expectations...of course there will be denial...but I'm always fascinated with how people deal with humility. We'll see in a couple of years.

He will do reasonably well, but will not satisfy Knicks fans that don't understand that it's not his fault and that it's the fault of the organization.

In a few years, he'll be packaged in some deal to a team like the Warriors or the Spurs and then he will become a great player in his own right and more than likely make the Finals or win a chip as a key piece to a contender.
this im a knicker for life but we absolutely suck at being patient and developing talent.........
these fans and the ny media expect everything at once with no nurturing

If he ends up actually getting playing time and developing through play time I think he will be good

If he sits on the bench for the whole season and loses his confidence then he won't be good as long as he is in NY

Very overlooked fact right here. A significant part of how these athletes develop is determined by the situation they get placed in. If dude has difficulty starting off and the NY public starts agitated and starts pressuring the front office, the coach is going to start playing the cat less minutes. That means less experience and less opportunity to grow.

I'm curious, how is he different from Bargnani? Bargnani gives you 15 ppg, but nothing much besides that. If Kristpas has a similar career to him would people be content with it?

I need to go find and bookmark my post where I said I wanted us to draft this kid

Prediction: He will come off the bench and bring energy and excitement, he will be a fan favorite and everyone will shyt on Fisher for not starting him. His 2nd year will be good but not as exciting as his first, there will be trade rumors, Knicks fans will be over him and putting him in trade scenarios for some big shot 100m 25+ year old coming off an injury. He will be traded and he will prosper elsewhere :mjcry:
