As far as switching goes, no, I'm cool for now. The restaurant business has been the best bullshyt job I've ever had.(sans my party promotion days) I plan on staying until I graduate.

Show us your art. Art's a hard business...my friend works full time at a corporate job and opened up an art gallery. She used to go to work, then from 6-midnight or so, paint at the gallery. It wasn't healthy. It's tough - unless you commit 100% but then you can't pay your bills *sigh*

I work at an Investment Firm as a Business/Portfolio Analyst

I'm apart of a Portfolio Management team but I handle support, reporting and development/management of web applications where necessary for our organization. I've been at this job for a year, but I've been doing support, reporting and development for a while now and I like those aspects but I'd rather work for myself. I'm working on a way to shift what I do into a home business of some sort .

Investment Firm.....is it long hours? Home business would be great....I need to be in an office environment or I'll get too distracted (shyt, look at me now - I'm on Coli instead of doing my work fully fml lol)

Well........

Financially rewarding..because it requires advance thinking to succeed here.

But it can be stressful when there is a huge network outage. I work for a satellite company which supports thousands of people....you can imagine how my job is when there is an outage...........I have learned to keep calm under pressure so I will be good.

I will say 80% of the time I work about 2-4hrs a day
