Hypocrisy is a perfectly normal part of parenthood. I smoked cigarettes since I was 15, I quit on my 23rd birthday. Just because I did it myself doesn't mean I'm going to be all "hey son, I'm happy you took up a filthy habit that shortens your lifespan, go for it!" I'm going to be on his ass explicitly making it clear that I don't like what he's doing and he better quit smoking - and that's if he's an adult. If I catch him smoking underage like I was when I took it up, you better believe there's going to be hell to pay.

In the end you and me have a fundamental difference in our values. You regard homosexuality as some disgusting, degenerate perversion that is totally unacceptable, while I think it's not really all that bad. Conversely I think bringing home a white woman is totally unacceptable while you think it's not really all that bad. I think there's some cultural differences at play here as well. I'm Indian and in our culture it is very very significant if you bring home a woman to show your parents. Maybe its different for Americans. Homosexuality is a crime in India but honestly it doesn't bother me all that much because my experiences with gay people have been more positive than my experiences with whites.

Pretty much - if he's gonna be out there like that then he might as well be getting paid. Oh, but he's also gonna have to learn to fight or slash nikkas with a razor or some kind of self defense.

His face is beat! He would have to come home and teach me how to do my makeup. Then I'm working on him building a profilo with a lil day job with MAC and and night job doing make up for strippers.
