Street Fighter 2 - the most revolutionary game imo of all time. Head to Head, the life bar, the bosses, the supers, the 1st female main fighter, the charge and the quarter circle motion, the music....everything about it is perfect.
Legend of Zelda: OOT - Its always tough between this and Link to The Past for me but OOT had it all. Still to this day the water temple is synonymous with frustration in a bad and good way. To me more than Super Mario World this is Nintendo's masterpiece.
Metal Gear Solid - this to me was the moment when games really started to grow up. When we could look at them as more than just games but as contemporary social commentaries and the graphics that could make it feel extra real.
Final Fantasy 6-10 - The best game for game series ever in my opinion. I picked this stretch because even with 8 in there you are looking at 10/10's across the board. Still FF is the perennial RPG and the measuring stick for which all JRPGs are measured.
Xenogears - The best RPG than no one played when it came out and its legend grew. Sans the rushed 2nd disk (cuz square wanted to focus on FF8) Xenogears is just amazing. The story was great, the music was great, the fighting system was just

I put this over Chrono Trigger for the sole reason of I LOVED to fight in Xenogears and it became a chore to me in CT
Streets Of Rage 2 - Still even after all these years its the best beat-em-up of all time, period.
Megaman X - The perfect platformer, the right hybrid of making the game difficult and still making the player feel powerful enough to fight anything and keep going, unlike OG Mega Man games. Once you found all the armor...

you turned into a different animal and the same beast, brehs and the game STILL looked at you like

in the latter levels.
GTA III - Again a revolutionary vote, and STILL one of the best original soundtracks ever.
Red Dead Redemption/The Last Of Us - Everyone here knows how much I think marston is dope. RDR is a GOAT because of the pacing. You NEVER felt like the game dragged until the end, nor did you feel like that huge world was filled with nothing. The real time events, people in the world who FELT like real people. This was a turning point for storytelling in open world games. GTA V STILL isn't better than this. TLOU is a goat because its just better than every uncharted. I never felt like i was threatened in Uncharted, while in TLOU im creeping around every corner losing my shyt

I played the first 10 mins with a homegirl over my crib and she started watching/screaming/crying like it was a Oscar winning film brehs

thats power.
Goldeneye 007/Perfect Dark - These are tied because perfect dark is better than golden eye in every way TECHNICALLY, but 007 has the Bond story advantage. I just couldn't ride with them aliens but playing it was so damn fun. And also over COD 4 because this shyt was the benchmark in multiplayer even before online.
Honorable Mentions: Crono Trigger, Resident Evil 2, Suikoden III, Sonic 2, Super Mario World/64, COD 4, Super Metroid/Castlevania SOTN
