I didn't see this thread in the forums so I decided to make it. What are your top JPRG'S of all time? Can be from any gen or platform.

Mine are

1: Xenogears
2: Suikoden 2
3: Tales of The Abyss
4: Breath of fire 3
5: Shadow Hearts 1 :Edit:

I can't even render an opinion. I've rarely completed most JPRG's I've played.

Off the top of my head the ones I finished were Persona 4 Golden, Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Destiny 1 and 2, and I think Golden Sun. Damn near every other JRPG I never finish.


But I'm confident none of them would compare to P4G imo.

Yeah I would only count Chrono Trigger on there. Maybe OP can elaborate on what he considers JRPGs. To me any turned based fighting game would definitely be included. But I would hate to think that thats the only requirement.

Chrono Cross gets mention for one of the GOAT soundtracks too. Chrono Trigger and Xenogears also have GOAT level soundtracks.
