Note: Alot of people like Suikoden 2 (solid game) but never gave 3 a chance. The trinity sight system adds dimensionality to the story, thereby making the world more engrossing. You feel like you're living in the game's world and get to know the characters more intimately. There's also little experimental features like the lottery, a trading system (purchase fish from a port town and sell it in another town for profit), the skill system, the rune system, secret chapters, replayability (choosing a different flame champion each play-through). It's criminal that this game doesn't get the recognition it deserves and is often overshadowed by its PS1 predecessors.

So I guess just five. Xillia and Arise are the only two that kept me coming back for more. Arise is a close second. Arise is the only platinum trophy I've gotten on the PS4 and Xillia is the only platinum trophy I got on the PS3.

I have several PSOne classics I have but still haven’t played yet including Suikoden 1 and 2, Breath of Fire 4, Xenogears. I’ve been on the fence about a few others like Legend of Dragoon. I wouldn’t even know where to begin for any JRPGs past the PS2 honestly (I have played P5R and enjoyed it though)

Was about to neg you if you brought up 4. That game was super trash.
Tales of Destiny, Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia, Berseria, Arise, Xillia 2, Destiny Remake are all better than Xilia 1.
