Mine is Babyface, The Neptunes, David Foster, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis in that order.

Honorable mentions: Timbaland, Kanye West, Jermaine Dupri, and Norman Whitfield (worked with the Temptations)

What are yours? Mention some of their finest works. I like to be exposed to new music.

This isn't who's better or the best list. Just personal.

I think Dr. Dre is overrated

:yeshrug:

Depends on what you mean. Please elaborate. I believe he put together some sonically crisp records with superb performances. My favorite record he produced is "For All My nikkaz and bytches". Not his best musical composition but the way the record was put together is dope.

Listening to the Key of Life was to me like the Beetles to cacs. That album is something wicked.
And yet Kanye's bytch ass gets all this hype

I really didn't think many of his beats were all that.
I didn't feel like he had any evolution to his music.
Just me.
