Depends on what you mean. Please elaborate. I believe he put together some sonically crisp records with superb performances. My favorite record he produced is "For All My nikkaz and bytches". Not his best musical composition but the way the record was put together is dope.

I agree but he's up there because of his contribution of bringing hip-hop into the modern era.... Sound quality for rap music was unheard of at the time.

I really didn't think many of his beats were all that.
I didn't feel like he had any evolution to his music.
