Is this 5 favorite? Or top 5 period? I'd be more objective and think about a lot of things for the latter list. My top 5 favorite ever?

In no order: Pac, Jay, Nas, Common, Ye.

U FEMALE?

No, just older.

I've listened to too much music that pulled me down over a period of time. Would take these artists mentioned any day. Also like more melodies in my hip-hop than just hard spitting all the time, that can be repetitive.

ATCQ- cats can just get down.
Jay-Z- best hip-hop lyricist of all-time imo.
Snoop Dogg- legend. Not boring.
Drake- versatile. Don't care if he's soft, shyt isn't boring.
T.I- that run he had in the early 2000's to 2006 was one of the greatest in the genre's history.

MJ- King. Undisputed. 5 decades of mainstream hits that make youngsters jam.
Janet- Queen. Undisputed. 5 decades of mainstream hits that make youngsters jam.
Lady Gaga- genius. She can do any genre. Was accepted as a savant to Juilliard as a youngster.
Pharrell- genius. Over a decade of piled hits as him solo and with Chad Hugo.
ATCQ- favorite hip-hop act.

I'll agree Janet and especially Lady Gaga. Honestly don't know why I gravitate toward Lady Gaga, won't even call it a guilty pleasure, just love her music/talent. But Janet did drop Rhythm Nation and Control which were for everybody.

I can't say the other three target females though. TI dropped Trap Muzik, Urban Legend and King at the height of his talent. Pharrell produced for Clipse, Jay-Z, Snoop, Usher, Future, etc. that production discography is no joke and had plenty of anthems for a breh. I know Drake's reputation on this board, but to say his music isn't for guys is a slight reach imo.

Agree to disagree then I guess on the last three.
