I'm one of those boys, still straight, I knew what he was doing was wrong and disgusting. If anything it made me slightly hypersexual towards women early, but I grew out of that fairly quickly. I think if anything the immediate shattering of innocence pushes people in the direction whatever sexual orientation they naturally were going to follow, but much harder and quicker.

My cousin who is wig wearing, nail wearing gay was the gayest baby I ever seen in my life.

That man dropped out the womb fabulous. Before I knew the word gay I knew he was gay.

He's the reason I believed at a young age most people are born gay before anyone tried to sway my opinion one way or the other.

But I believe some people's sexuality can be swayed by environment too. I don't necessarily think by things as shallow as having no dad but exposure to certain sexual acts at certain points of life.

The plasticity of the brain means it can be shaped under the right circumstances. The brain is still in development into the mid twenties.

And what about the boys who were molested by men but grew up to have functional families?

It's not always a sure thing but I feel like people can definitely have sexual desires based off traumatic events experienced as a child. Alot of dudes get molested as a kid by women and have a fetish for older women. I wouldn't even be surprised if childhood rape is linked to some women who enjoy rough sex.

Basically it suggests the reason nature might produce gays and lesbians is to assist in the protection and upbringing of heterosexual people's offspring.

Ex. Gay men staying back with women while heterosexual men go hunt/fight. Their effeminate nature allowing them to get along better with the women they're protecting. Remember they're still physically men so they can better help with predators and rival tribes.
