Fam my ex-wife has crippling nerve pain from a botched CT scan in her arm. We couldn't even get refills on her meds which I shyt you not I looked up cost fukking $11.25 to make a bottle of without paying several thousand dollars for an out of network referral and then $120 for a bottle of fukking 20 of the things.
Imagine dying out of network.
Like I make a good living but that's a fukking USED CAR to get a bottle of generic pills. We drove back to Boston from Virginia once during a work event because of this.

I will say, after almost week in and out of the NICU and speaking with the people you speak with and their different situations, it's crazy how many people's lives are altered by something as simple and positive as giving birth to a child and making sure the baby and the mother get to survive and continue on in this world.

Everything is for profit. Why aren't grocery stores jacking up food prices by 1000%, though? Prob. b/c the gov't isn't subsidizing everything in sight or regulating it to death. I want a free market system but too many folks are scared so politically expedient way is to go for what Costa Rica has. If I have serious health issues, I'm heading out of the country. There's a reason why Jared Polis (D-Colorado) voted for O-care and then turn around and bought stock in overseas medical tourism.

if you have health insurance check and see if they have gyms they'll pay for. When I lived in the city they paid my gym bill. Guess insurance companies are getting into preventative health stuff now.
