Let's say you're building a label and you can sign five rappers/groups. You can sign anybody because money is not an issue, but let's make it more interesting. You can't sign anybody who is currently popular in the mainstream so no Jay-Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar etc. Who do you pick and why?

I;d be building a Southern Rap label so here are my choices

-K-Rino-Lyrical monster. Definitely one of the greatest to ever do it, but has always been relegated to the underground. Drops numerous albums per year, and is unmatched lyrically.

-Dirty-Raw group hailing from Alabama. Bringing a Southern perspective and are more lyrical than most give them credit for. Should have went farther off Da Pimp & Gangster

-Field Mob-Extremely underrated. The way that go back and forth with each other on a track is crazy. Great first album, okay second album, and weak third album due to DTP. Tried to make them commercial, but still have the ability to make great music.

-Rich Boy-Most would write him off as a one hit wonder, but Rich Boy is nice and his mixtapes prove that. Came out a time when rap was innudated with BS, so he got overshadowed by snap music and bullshyt like it. Wouldn't count him out.

-Willie D-One of the pioneers of the Southern sound, Willie D brings a mature hood perspective to the label. Not afraid to tell the truth, and is going to give you street reality in his raps.

:lolbron: MAINO cause he was the FIRST TEST MONKEY for 360 deals.......but always finds away to stay revelvent without much effort on my part as a record company head

AZALEA BANKS for some reason i feel her quirkiness and niche fan base makes her quite marketable........she's creative enough to carve out her own lane..if she just learns to stop BURNING BRIDGES and STFU :wow:

COLI RAPPER ensilence...i find her to be a very intesting and passionate artist......i see no limit to her creativity...whether it's spoken word or acting....kinda like a FEMALE MOS DEF.......i'd sign her and let her HAVE FULL CREATIVE CONTROL

CHARLIE WILSON.....he's the one r&b old school singer who features alone :ahh: are priceless and is a valuable tour commodity...just imagine the SHOW DOUGH charlie brings in :ohhh:
