You’re not using logic breh lol. Do you think every young person is super ambitious and on some high level trajectory?? Or do you think because you are in college you tend to run into others who are in college and optimistic??

You must think I’m insulting you or something. I’m just pointing out there is a large segment of the population who can take value from this advice (including you but you don’t see it that way which is cool). If you don’t fit that category then that’s good for you but you’re making it seem like young people shouldn’t work hard because they have college lol.

But I think I the level that the other guy is talking about, you’ve already “gotten the worm,” now you’re just trying to figure out a way to get 2 worms. I have no desire to work 60 hours per week. Sure it’s happened a couple times in my life, but it’s not consistent. I live in the south and make 6 figures. I’m not gonna kill myself to make more when I do well with what I have.

Can I buy that $80k car that I really like? (And still save and travel like I want to) No. But I can be content with a Ford Explorer if I need to be. And I’ll take my yearly raises and bonuses and take my time finding another job that’ll pay me more without me having to kill myself. I prefer to spend time with my family and enjoy experiences over more money anyway.

I am using logic. And nah I don’t think you insulting me, I just think we live in different worlds breh. Idgaf where you from tho, nobody slaving away at low tier minimum wage jobs is hustling as hard as you think, as echoed here in this thread “work smarter, not harder”. It’s a reason you just now hearing of labor shortages in said jobs, shyt won’t benefit me haha I put in my time for long work weeks and I’d rather stay at 30-40hrs and stay in school full time:yeshrug:I’d only consider that shyt if I get into IB after college and grind away for 2 years then hit that exit opp:wow:I'm sorry for not agreeing with KS if that’s what you wanna hear. I’m firm in my stance.
Edit: I’ll add and just reiterate my main point, that 60-80hr week shyt is cool when you don’t have shyt else going for yourself. But if you chasing that degree, or got another hustle on the side then…:patrice:

It's not so much about being ahead of "people" however the fact that your are ahead of most "people" means that you've afforded yourself a certain lifestyle...maybe that means homeownership, or the ability to take family vacations for 3 weeks, or afford your child a private tutor, or leave your child 100k in inheritance or pay for there college without breaking the bank....if that's what puts you ahead of "most people" then by all mean put yourself in that position...:salute:
