Is he worse than Lovie?

Lovie at least looked the part of a head coach and possessed some decent leadership skills. DK appears to be in over his head.
Honestly... I don't even know, Lovie did some shyt that fukkin' stupid for a guy who a coach for so damn long.

I'm hoping it's first time coachin' jitters with Koetter and grows out that shyt, but if he don't. Try to pry Hue Jackson from Cleveland.

maybe his QB isn't playing well because of his terrible playcalling

Jameis missed numerous wide open WRs and was all over the place with the ball. he didn't play well stop with the excuses

I'm a Jameis fan but he has not progressed at all so far

He got conservative at the end which was a mistake but Jameis took a decent amount of chances downfield and most of the throws were terrible. I don't know what game some u were watching where Jameis wasn't bad or at fault at all lol

He threw into double coverage twice all game and maybe 2 missed on over throws. It's the NFL.....if you think a QB taking his chances on double coverage with his best WR only twice in a game is bad, then you have a skewed view of what playing "bad" is. You do know Jameis basically dialed up 2 back to back winning drives. Berto missed the fg and came back and capped the other one. The chances Jameis got coming down the stretch to push the ball, he laid dimes on Evans and Jackson on both drives. Koetter got scared. And maybe his intentions were good and he tried to save Jameis from himself. But in the end, he just came off looking timid as a play caller when it was "game winning time".

The first sign was when he went conservative against Atlanta in week 1. Offense was rolling...just why.

Lovie at least looked like the leader of men. Koetter is still trying to find his way. Thats not to say he can't figure it out. However, right now he looks like one of those coaches you hire as an interim coach when you fire the regular coach midseason. Thats fine. However, Licht promoted him cause he was worried about losing him...its more on Licht than anything...better hope his coach develops..

I think Koetter will figure it out. You knew they were gonna try to get the run game going with Jameis throwing 45 times a game so far. I think once Doug gets back after the Bye he'll settle in on a good balance.
