I would say golf, but the thread title makes it kinda vague. Being the best player in a certain sport doesn't mean you get that level of recognition. Not everyone knows who the greatest hockey player in the world is right now, and plus the sport you choose could be in a period where the league is full of scrubs, and you just happen to be the best :yeshrug: I might not be like Tiger or the Williams.

Taking that into account, it would be baseball. Injuries aren't as freak/devastating, you can play until you're 40, you make good money like mentioned before, and baseball players get that all-American, all-Cubano, all-Japanese VIP treatment. Imagine all the p*ssy you would get :noah: The hands you would shake :gladbron: The commercials you would shoot :ahh: It's like a medium between golf and football. Only thing is that you would be playing outdoors all summer :whew: then outdoors all of fall too :sadcam:

Track and field, specifically sprinting. There's something intriguing about being the fastest man in the world. Plus I'd get paid for under 10 seconds of work :lolbron:

Golf

- VERY little chance at injury
- Millions of Dollars
- Rub elbows with more of the elite as they are probably more likely to watch golf than any other sport
-Can play for 20 or more years
- Level of fame will be elevated by the fact that the general public knows very little about Golfers. Tiger Woods doesn't have a Kobe or LeBron equivalent he has to compete with (in the fame department), its Tiger and then everybody else

Anyone who says Football (though its my favorite to watch) is a fool

Agreed 200%
