YouTube disables dislikes on videos being displayed publicly

A stupid move by Youtube.
they can't take dislikes off of Vanced
This is straight up bullshyt. Soft ass generation
My thoughts:
1. Controlling the narrative
1a.how the algorithm works upvoted content goes to the top.
1b. Manufacturing buy in
People are likely to view the information as the truth or more helpful the more likes it has.
Ex. Think about sights like rotten tomatoes where shows or comedy specials are trash but get high ratings from professional critics and truthful low ratings from the actual public that watch it.
2. Money
2a. Theres alot of money spent in order to advertise an idea or product. Entire ad campaigns have been stopped in there tracks by mass dislikes and millions lost by corporations.
Ex.gillete razor toxic masculinity campaign
3. Outrage(trigger) Engagement manipulation
3a. Hard to describe. But think off it like a type of outrage marketing. Where normally you'd click on vid you may disagree with and downvote it or be vindicated by the downvotes and no longer engage or engage less with the content. without the downvotes/dislikes to provide vindication you may actually leave a comment(which creates personal investment) which then may get a response that you are compelled to defend due to personal investment of your expressed point of view creating a loop of more engagement then a simple dislike ever could. Think of times you or another person has been sucked into multipost arguments online that create entire pages. Its what twitter does which is why they track engagement with views,clicks, or responses to posts and also dont have a dislike button.

First they removed being able to click on people's profiles when they send a message on live chats
Then they removed the dislikes on videos
And now sorting videos from oldest. You can only see people's latest & most popular videos unless you scroll all the way down.

Hopefully someone build a extension to return the youtube sorting. I found a chrome extension called Return YouTube Dislike that displays the dislike count on youtube. I heard about it a month ago on a podcast where they mentioned that a video got a ton of dislike. That's when I started searching and found the plugin.Now they removed sorting videos from oldest on people's channels

Now live streams won't appear under the videos tab there's a separate live tab where all the live streams appear
YouTube is also showing handles instead of names in the comments.

Change for the sake of change. That's what Google products evolve in to when they don't die.
