Funny part is I been taking herbs since I was a 4 year old child for my asthma. My mom and a holistic pediatrician my parents got me would do this for my asthma to prevent me from being addicted to asthma medication. Sometimes kids can get addicted to it because often times the doctors prescribe kids to take the medication 2 to 3 times a day. But once they stop taking it their breathing gets worse.

Anyway I would mention that I took herbs for asthma to my friends over the years and some thought I was crazy and herbs were dumb.

Now since covid vax came out a few of my friends that thought herbs were crazy have now all of a sudden become herb specialists. Talking about how they been taking herbs for decades and don't need the vax. Then when I ask them what books they read up on the herbs from (there are actually herb books one of the most famous is back to eden which is like over 100 years old). They slip up and mention it was some herb on Facebook that someone mentioned that they are taking in place of the vax.

This is always a conversation starter. I will say, I'm not sure if it's a lack of imagination or what, but everyone questions censorship and no one questions where the line gets drawn in terms of misinformation and social media.

Yes, if censorship goes overboard, we can turn into 1984 or CCP as a worst case scenario... but is it possible that there is a worst case scenario for misinformation that we are hurtling towards unless we put measures into place? Is it possible that some censorship is a good thing a la post-Nazi Germany? They have seen the problems of misinformation in a way that the US never has.

We are living in a time where people are willingly dying because of misinformation and yet, the conversation drifts towards the opposite extreme, (which is currently a hypothetical) of mass censorship.

The government telling you that their approved info is the only one you're going to get is bullshyt.
Also anti vaxx stuff is not even being promoted people are seeking it on their own. And the government trying to stop it is classic 1984 shyt
