No, the value of youtube premium is in the YTmusic service. The ad-free YouTube is just a bonus. Both of them come together in the same service.

It would be like paying for Spotify and then getting HBO for free.

Word, imo Ytmusic is by far the best music streaming platform, the sound quality/loudness trumps Spotify, has access to more catalogue simply being integrated with YouTube. Far better interface, tailored playlist formation and it's easier to navigate and easier on the eyes than Spotify and the likes.

Youtube premium and the addition of Ytmusic is truly a nice bang for your buck deal, most of these nikkas are clueless.

Family plan is 23 bucks a month and worth every penny. 5 other people get YouTube premium off me in my family .
Movie selection is dope , YouTube music , no ads
I don’t know how you are seeing ads . Haven’t seen a YouTube ad in forever

I will cancel every other streaming service before I cancel YouTube premium .
