Far as I know it doesn't work on TV, but the mobile version has features not even in the premium paid version of YouTube.

That's how we were raised. The only thing I do pay for is Disney for mini me. Other then that, the pirate life it is.

Picture in picture is a feature i had for the longest on my note 8 but it seems like Youtube disabled it. Play Queue, background play and video download are features that should've been available with no charge. Only major good thing is ad free
