Find something you are passionate about. Become really good at it. Then find a way to monetize it.
People worry about making money first rather than finding something they enjoy doing even if nobody will pay them for it. What happens is eventually when you become good at your passion people will come to you willing to pay you for your knowledge.
For example, let's say you are passionate about bodybuilding. When you become really good, people will come to you at the gym asking for advice. Soon they will pay you to train them. And after that they might pay just for the advice you started to give out for free in the beginning.
The key is becoming really good at something. And the best way to be good at anything is to love doing it.

The reality of the situation is that the market values certain skills a lot more than others so its best to learn a skill in higher demand that pays more.
For example, there's a lot of great teachers that barely make enough to survive while there are mediocre STEM workers making just under 100k a year.
With the cost of living going up so much, a lot of people don't have the time to "figure out what they love" then spend 5-10 years becoming an expert at it and cultivating a fanbase to pay them for their knowledge.
