Sad part is...most of the interesting content that goes viral on the internet STARTS on the coli. From our Questions, Topics, Smilies, Stories, or Jokes. There are too many websites (Complex, ect.) and bloggers (Akademics, ect.) that take content from the coli and make money. Why aren't people of the coli capitalizing off of their own creativity?
We should start a coli group where people start a youtube channel and post it in the group.
Rules
Group members have to watch all videos posted in thecoli thread (in its entirety)
Group members have to subscribe/comment to all posted videos (proof that you watched the video).
Group members benefit from all other group members watching, subscribing, commenting their own videos.
Group members have to share videos on their social media platforms.
Even if people don't have a youtube channel they can still participate and help the people with a channel by watching their videos. The group can help each other by sharing share tips, editing advice, critiques, ect.
It guarantees that every video will have interaction which means money in everyones pocket. This would literally give every person who starts a channel an instant viewer base which means suplemental income (even if its only a $100/wk)
and if someone makes a really good channel its only natural that it will snowball into more subscribers and more money.
