I want to say Outlaw Star would be crazy but I don't trust Netflix

I think they could make something passable hardest part would be the special effects, various aliens and the crazy settings they visit. The TV show Dark Matter while low budget still had a good amount of fans and it kind of reminded me of OS.

Well I mean with Dragon Ball they didn't even attempt to be faithful to the show - Fox just slapped together some generic 2000s coming-of-age action film and slapped DB names and terminology onto it so they could retain the license.
